TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — Here's your forecast for the next four hours:

Good Thursday morning! It's a warm and muggy morning with temperatures near 70. We've got some showers on radar and will see the presence of rain around the Big Bend and southern Georgia throughout the forecast. Highs are going to be staying below normal thanks to the mostly cloudy to overcast skies and rain. We'll be in the mid 80's through much of the week through the weekend.

With the influences of the circulation around Tropical Storm Cristobal expected to be in the Gulf this weekend, we'll have a trail of moisture heading our way. Rain chances will be widespread, and some spots can received a few inches of rain.

As Tropical Storm Cristobal lurks in the far southwestern Gulf of Mexico, it will be another couple of days before we get a firmer grip on where it goes and at what level of strength. Most model guidance favors the west-central Gulf and a likely landfall scenario toward the Texas and Louisiana coast. It's a good idea to get prepared for the coming months!
