TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — Here's your forecast for the next four hours:
Good Tuesday morning!
It's a dry and clear start to the day with temperatures in the lower 70's. We've got a hot day on tap as high temperatures will near records, in the upper 90's. Heat index values will be in the triple digits so stay cool if you've got outside plans! We won't see much for rain chances today, but a few scattered showers are expected on Wednesday ahead of a backdoor cold front sinking down from the northeast.
Rain will be possible through the second half of tomorrow as drier air sinks into the southeast. After scattered activity passes Thursday, a gradual clearing trend will occur. Morning temperatures late this week will fall into the 60s, but highs will remain warm in the upper 80s to low 90s.
