TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — Here's your forecast for the next four hours:

Good Monday morning!

We're starting the day off with temperatures in the lower 50's with mostly clear and bright skies. Once the sun comes up we've got sunshine in the forecast for today with highs climbing into the mid 70's. Southerly winds will transport lower level moisture into the region and we'll see a slow warming trend take place through the work week.

Highs will slowly climb into the 80's later on this week as lows stick in the 50's. Rain chances remain on the lower end with no cold fronts in the extended outlook. The best chance for showers will be mid to late week for areas further north- mainly in southern Georgia. Only a few brief passing showers are expected, with no severe weather risk this week.
