TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — Here's your forecast for the next four hours:
The moisture increase has resulted in a few more showers and thunderstorms, especially near the sea breeze flow inland from the Gulf coast. Other isolated pop-up showers have formed in the Flint River area of southern Georgia. No severe weather is anticipated. Scattered clouds will disperse overnight with lows reaching the low to mid 70s.
Thursday will start with sunshine, then clouds will build over the afternoon time frame with more spots of showers and storms forming by late-afternoon. Some will last through the evening. Highs will be around 90° to 97°, feeling like 98° to 106° with the high moisture levels. Additional sources of moisture from the south will fuel more rain development Friday through early next week, with occasional sunshine mixed in.
