TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — Here's your forecast for the next four hours:
Good Thursday morning!
It's a warm and muggy start to the day with temperatures in the 60's and 70's as we await a cold front later today. A line of showers and storms will approach from the west later this morning and move east through the afternoon and early evening. Expect a line of showers and embedded storms with the potential to produce some isolated damaging wind gusts. Severe potential remains low, but possible.
Skies will be cloudy with highs in the 70's and mostly cloudy to overcast skies all day. Once the front passes our winds will shift from the northwest and cooler, drier air will filter in. We'll see some lingering clouds and showers through Friday morning but should dry out by mid morning and skies should clear out after lunch with cooler temperatures and sunshine. This weekend looks like it'll be off to a pleasant start- cool and sunny for Saturday before clouds, warm temps, and low rain chances return for Sunday.
