TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — Here's your forecast for the next four hours:

Good Friday morning!

It's a warm start with temperatures in the lower 70's. Scattered showers and a few embedded storms are expected today beginning this morning through the afternoon and evening. Skies will be mostly cloudy with breezy winds from the southwest. We'll still see breaks of sun this afternoon as some spots could creep up near 90.

Not everyone will encounter rain Friday, but many of us will get in on tropically-driven rain action later Saturday through Sunday. While Storm Cristobal won't come here directly, we will have a stream of moisture that can cause heavy rain and a few inches of rain, particularly near the coast and along the Panhandle. Coastal areas will have a soggy Saturday while the deep-layer tropical moisture expands inland Sunday, bringing most of the Big Bend and southern Georgia the potential for widespread, soaking rain.
