TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — Here's your forecast for the next four hours:

Good Tuesday morning!

It's a comfortable start to the day across the Big Bend and southern Georgia with passing clouds and temperatures in the 50's. Temperatures will climb quickly after the sun comes up- we'll see highs this afternoon in the mid to upper 70's with some areas nearing 80. Winds will be from the south today which will continue to help bring lower level moisture into the region. We'll see partly cloudy skies this afternoon with a low chances for some showers for inland sections of the viewing area, mainly throughout southern Georgia.

Any rain we see today or over the next few days will likely remain minimal without much thunderstorm potential. Highs will continue to climb later this week until we top out in the low to mid 80's through the weekend with no significant weather systems approaching the Big Bend. Without any cold fronts our weather will generally be rinse, wash repeat with warm afternoons and a mix of afternoon sun and clouds.
