TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — Here's your forecast for the next four hours:
Good Monday morning!
It's a cool start to the week with temperatures in the upper 40's with mostly clear skies this morning. Conditions will remain quiet through the morning hours as winds shift from the south and moisture gradually increases ahead of our next rainmaker starting tonight. We'll warm up into the lower 70's this afternoon with increasing clouds late and rain moving in later this afternoon and evening. There isn't very high thunderstorm potential but we will see showers on radar starting tonight.
A few progressive storm systems will roll through the southeast over the next few days keeping rain in the forecast through Tuesday and Wednesday morning and once the final front clears us Wednesday we will see another shot of cool and dry air sink into the Big Bend with the return of sunshine for the second half of the work week. Rainfall totals through the next few days will likely stay between 1-3" without any potential for severe weather or flooding.
