TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — Here's your forecast for the next four hours:
Good Wednesday morning!
It's a mild start today with temperatures in the lower 70's as you step outside. We broke a record high temperature yesterday hitting 100°! It's the second latest 100° day on record in Tallahassee, the only later one coming on September 20th in 1931. Today is the last hot day with highs in the mid 90's before some cooler air noses in with a backdoor cold front sinking in from the NE.
This cold front will produce scattered showers and isolated thunder through the evening and overnight periods. A drier air mass will follow, allowing highs Thursday to be capped mainly in the 80s. Morning lows for the rest of the week will fall into the 60s.
