TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — Here's your forecast for the next four hours:
It's a cool walk outside Friday morning.
The thermometer will be rising to right around 80F Friday afternoon with a light breeze. You won't need to think about using the umbrella until Saturday morning. There will be a few showers and storms in the area, mainly along the coastal counties for the first half of the day. Everybody gets a break midday before another round of pop-up showers and storms arrive after 2:00 p.m. Otherwise mostly cloudy and warm.
Our attention shifts to Sunday. It will be dry to start the day. However, another system will bring severe weather to portions to the Southeast, including right here in Southern Georgia and the Big Bend. As of Friday morning, it looks as if the severe weather threat will be more toward late Sunday into Monday.
