TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — Here's your forecast for the next four hours:
Good Wednesday morning!
It's a warmer start to the day with temperatures in the lower 60's and some passing clouds. It's going to be warm with more humidity today as winds are breezy from the south. Highs will be in the low to mid 80's with increasing clouds. We've got showers and storms ahead with some isolated severe potential as a cold front swings through tonight. Areas along and west of the Flint River will be under a slight risk, while the rest of the Big Bend and southern Georgia are under a marginal risk for severe weather.
The threats for storms tonight will include gusty winds, locally heavy rainfall, and frequent lightning. A tornado cannot be ruled out, but that potential is low. Rain and storms will leave before dawn Thursday, and a return of dry and mild conditions is expected. Over the weekend, afternoon highs will reach around 90° with sunshine prevailing.
