TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — Here's your forecast for the next four hours:

Good Wednesday morning! We're seeing more rain across the area this morning with some scattered showers through southern Georgia with temperatures in the 70's. Skies will remain mostly cloudy to overcast through the day with highs in the low to mid 80's and winds from the west.

Rain will remain scattered through the morning and early afternoon before the cold front arrives which will help dry us out and cool us off into the overnight hours. We will wake up tomorrow with mostly clear skies and temperatures in the 50's! The coolest morning since May. Highs will only reach the mid 70's through tomorrow and Friday.

Tropical moisture surges north from the Gulf this weekend, renewing a threat for heavy rain. The moisture source may have a weak tropical low-pressure system connected to it.
