TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — Here's your forecast for the next four hours:
Good Thursday morning!
It's a warm and muggy start to the day with temperatures in the 60's and 70's. Skies have some passing clouds as we remain dry. Rain chances are back in the forecast for today, but on the lower end. Some isolated pop-up showers and thunderstorms will be possible through the afternoon and early evening. Nothing severe is expected as a cold front passes overnight with some cooler temperatures filtering in and a rainy Friday morning. Most of Friday's rain will be on the lighter side with no thunder or lightning.
We'll dry out tomorrow afternoon with cool and clear conditions taking us into the weekend. Our next storm threat will follow on Easter Sunday as a potent system likely brings strong storms across the mid-south and southeast. Our best timeframe looks to be Sunday night through Monday morning for any severe threat, but we will continue to update the forecast in the coming days with more detailed info.
