TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — Here's your forecast for the next four hours:
Good Friday morning!
After hitting 97 ° yesterday breaking monthly record high temperatures for the past two days, we've got more record breaking heat on the way today. After starting off in the 70's we'll see temperatures climb quickly through the day. Mid 90's back in the forecast this afternoon with heat index values brushing the triple digits.
Mid-summer heat will begin to subside this weekend with the help of rain chances and increasing clouds. We should stay in the lower 90's through the weekend with isolated showers and storms in the afternoon. Rain chance will climb more early next week with a meandering cold front, also helping cap highs mostly in the mid and upper 80s.
