TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — Here's your forecast for the next four hours:

Good Monday morning!

It's a warm and humid start outside with temperatures in the upper 60's and lower 70's. It's going to be a warm day with highs near 90 this afternoon and a few spotty showers and storms. Winds will be from the east with moisture slowly increasing. Coverage should remain scattered throughout the afternoon and evening before we dry back out overnight.

We'll see low rain chances linger through mid-week with only an isolated shower or two tomorrow, and chances near 20% for Wednesday. Temperatures will be slightly lower through mid-week with highs staying in the 80's. Rain chances will ramp back up toward Thursday into the end of the week.

Tropics update:

There continues to be a 70% chance that a tropical system can develop this week in the Gulf of Mexico. We'll be watching the system that was formerly "Tropical Storm Amanda" in the eastern Pacific for gradual re-development as it moves back into the Bay of Campeche.
