TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — Here's your forecast for the next four hours:

The umbrellas will come in handy this weekend.

A slow moving cold front will bring steady showers and storms to the area this weekend. The morning will be the driest part of the day with a passing shower. By the afternoon, a line of showers and storms will begin moving into the western half of the Big Bend and South Georgia. Some of these storms will have the potential to produce gusty winds, heavy rain and even a brief tornado.

This broken line of storms will inch it's way into the Leon County area by late afternoon and early evening.
Saturday will be a good day to stay inside and watch a movie as much of the area will see steady rain. Some areas will see more than two inches of rain. A few cases of local flooding are possible through late Saturday, though severe thunderstorm chances will be limited.
