TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — Here's your forecast for the next four hours:
Good Thursday morning!
We finally get a break from the mid-summer heat as a cold front wedges into the area. We hit 101° yesterday in Tallahassee setting a new record high for the second day in a row. Today will be MUCH cooler, with highs staying in the mid to upper 80's this afternoon. Winds will be from the ENE with mostly sunny skies and only a few passing clouds.
An isolated shower or two is possible through the remainder of the morning, especially for coastal areas, although we should be staying dry here through the weekend. Our highs will stay in the 80's for the next few days with lows in the mid to upper 60's, along with relatively lower humidity compared to what it's been as of late.
