TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — Here's your forecast for the next four hours:
Good Wednesday morning!
A cold front is approaching the Big Bend and will be passing through this morning. We won't see much rain aside from a spotty shower or two, but cooler and drier air will be sinking in through the day. A clearing trend is likely in the afternoon with breezier northwest wind. Lows tonight will be in the mid 60s, and highs Wednesday will make it into the 80s. Another late-season cool snap will be felt for the last half of the week as lows drop to around 50°, and Thursday's highs will peak in the 70s. Saturday features another chance for rain and maybe a couple of thunderstorms. Clouds are set to linger into Mother's Day.
A Red Flag Warning will be in effect for central and western Big Bend counties Wednesday afternoon. This means very dry air, combined with breezy wind, will increase wildfire risk. Delaying outdoor burning plans is recommended.
