TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — Here's your forecast for the next four hours:

Good Monday morning!

It's another mild start after a warm and gloomy weekend across the Big Bend. We're seeing a few more showers clear out of the region this morning and that will keep rain chances in the forecast for the first half of the day. Expect just another passing shower or so with modest accumulations and little to no thunder.

We'll gradually clear out this afternoon as cooler and drier air sinks into the Big Bend, finally cooling us off a bit for the first time since before Christmas. The forecast will be dry and chilly for New Year's Eve, so be sure to have a jacket or sweater handy! We'll be clear and sunny through mid-week with rain chances returning on Thursday night, and a soggy looking Friday as well.
