MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- The former Tropical Storm Claudette is just a skeleton of its previous, short-lived tropical self, losing basically all of its thunderstorm action in the colder environment off the Canadian Maritimes.

The remnant low was moving northeast at 21 mph late Tuesday night, with its center located nearly 300 miles east of Halifax, Nova Scotia.

There is no expectation of regeneration of this system as it is whisked off into the far North Atlantic through the next couple of days.
