LIVE OAK, Fla. (WTXL) -- Breakfast and meteorology were served at the Live Oak Public Library on Ohio Ave. S. Tuesday morning, as chief meteorologist Casanova Nurse was the featured guest in the library's periodic discussion series.
Approximately 50 attendees filed into the presentation room for breakfast foods prepared by library staff before the discussion began. Casanova covered topics ranging from early influences on his career to hurricane season forecasting, as well as addressing questions about water quantity in a thunderstorm and concerns about global warming.
If you are interested in having Casanova or another Storm Team meteorologist speak to your group or class, email weather@wtxl.tv with your request.
