MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- The vernal equinox indicates that the first day of Spring starts tonight at 6:45 pm! The vernal equinox occurs when the suns rays shift more into the Northern Hemisphere. So our region will be experiencing more sun and the Southern Hemisphere will make its way into autumn. We have all ready been experiencing the spring like conditions with the heavy pollen that has been present but today is the official start.
