TALLAHASSEE (WTXL) - Wednesday marks the first day of the Atlantic hurricane season.
This year we have already seen hurricane Alex and tropical storm Bonnie so if another storm does form, the next name on the list is Colin.
This year NOAA is forecasting that between 10 and 16 named storms will form.
From that, 4-8 are forecast to become hurricanes with 1-4 becoming major hurricanes, meaning category 3 or higher.
