MERRIMACK, NH (WTXL/CNN) -- Punxutawney Phil saw his shadow this year meaning six more weeks of winter. Now, a New Hampshire police department wants him to also see handcuffs. The Merrimack Police Department has put out a warrant for the arrest of the famous Pennsylvania groundhog.
The department wrote on its Facebook page that Phil announced six more weeks of winter, but he failed to mention the huge amounts of snowfall that have been seen. The online post warns residents not to approach Phil, calling him armed and dangerous.
