11 AM UPDATE: Cindy Weakens to Depression

MIDWAY, Fl. (WTXL) -- Tropical Storm Cindy has quickly weakened to a tropical depression after it moved ashore this morning. The storm is expected to become a remnant low (non-tropical) by early tomorrow morning.

The latest advisory can be seen below with the current forecast track. Maximum sustained winds are sustained at 35 mph with rain and tornado threats continuing to persist well east of the center of circulation.

Eastern Louisiana, southern Mississippi, southern Alabama, and the far western Florida Panhandle are under a TORNADO WATCH until 1:00pm CT (2:00pm ET).

FLASH FLOOD WATCHES continue for several parts of the southeastern U.S.
