TALLADEGA, AL --Officials say the bodies of Joshua Douin, 19, of Crawfordville and James Cook, 48 of Tallahassee were found inside their camper Sunday night at the Talladega Campground.

According to officials, a third person who was with the two men made the discovery.

Local media is reporting that Douin and Cook were found inside of a camper.

Josha Douin was well known in Crawfordville. He graduated from Wakulla High School last year where those who knew him say he was a great student and friend. From homecoming king to wrestling for the school, they add he was truly an all-american.

Douin also worked for the City of Tallahassee Utilities Department who's also mourning his death.

"We at the City of Tallahassee were deeply saddened to learn of the passing of one of our employees over the weekend. Joshua Douin was an outgoing, well-liked friend and colleague in Underground Utilities. His positive energy and constant smile will be remembered. It’s tragic whenever we lose a member of our city family, especially someone so young who had a promising future ahead. Our hearts are with his family and friends during this time of grief."

Investigators say they don't suspect foul play. The Talladega County Coroner has completed the autopsy however; the results or cause of death won't be released for another two weeks.

Meanwhile the Tallahassee Fire Department is encouraging residents to camp with safety keeping in mind the silent killer.

"It comes in and envelopes the entire room, your body absorbs it and depletes you from oxygen. You can be asleep and die from this dangerous gas and not even know it, says Matt O'Brien".

Officials recommend that regardless of the age of your camper, you have a carbon monoxide and smoke detector.
