TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Despite rain, thousands of people ran in the annual Tallahassee Turkey Trot.
All proceeds from the run will be donated to the Refuge House, the Shelter and the Boys and Girls Club of the Big Bend.
Runners tell us they were thankful for the opportunity to celebrate Thanksgiving as a community.
One runner was WTXL's Jade Bulecza, who finished the race in just over 30 minutes.
