TALLLAHASSEE, FLA. (WTXL) - The Tallahassee police department is currently investigating a single vehicle crash on Raa Avenue.
Tallahassee Police say officers and emergency responders were called to the scene at about 7:38 p.m. Saturday, for the accident and immediately provided medical attention to the driver.
Due to the significance of the crash, Traffic Homicide Investigators were called to the scene and assumed the investigation.
The driver was taken to a local hospital with life threatening injures.
All north and south bound traffic on High Road is currently closed from Raa Avenue to Sunset Lane.
The police are asking anyone who may have witnessed the crash, or anyone with information about the accident to please call (850) 891-4200 and ask to speak with the Traffic Homicide Unit.
This is an active investigation.
