TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - A Tallahassee man was arrested after he was accused of molesting a child.
Larry L. Williams, 64, was booked into the Leon County Detention Center on Saturday. He remained there Monday with no bond amount being set.
After the victim's mother walked into a room and saw Williams molesting her child, a probable cause affidavit said, Williams left the scene in his pick-up truck and later sent back a text:
"I'm sorry for the pain I've caused you. I'm gonna drive 100 mph and run into a pole. I love you."
A specialist from the Children's Home Society Child Protection Team interviewed the victim.
Court documents said law enforcement officers were unable to reach Williams on the day of the incident.
