TALLAHASSEE, FL (WTXL) - A group of local businesses came together Saturday to showcase the completion of a recent project.
Tallahassee Investors Network led a project that worked to build a new deck and a new handicap access ramp for the Ronald McDonald House in Tallahassee.
The men and women involved in making the project take shape shared the finished product with a ribbon cutting ceremony.
Kathy Anderson, Executive Director at the Ronald McDonald House in Tallahassee says, "This is monumental for us because we have so many children and adults that are in wheelchairs or using crutches that come and stay at the Ronald McDonald house. And our old ramp was not adequate, the ground had settled. It was really leaning and this is so much safer."
Members of the Ronald McDonald House say they hope to work with the Tallahassee Investors Network in the future.
