MILWAUKEE (WISN/CNN) - Five suspects between the ages of 12 and 17 were taken into custody following a police chase and crash that injured seven people. A chase comes to a crashing conclusion at 24th and Wells late on Tuesday night.
One suspect, young enough to be in elementary school, is just 12. The others, two 14-year-olds, a 16 and a 17-year old.
Wauwatosa police say the suspects tried to get away in a stolen black Jeep Cherokee taken in an armed robbery carjacking on Sunday.
"See, I was in the house and I just heard, it sounded like something exploded,” said O’Brian Watts. Watts lives nearby and says the crashing jeep damaged his parked car. "I don't know what to say about to be honest. It's messed up. But, just another day I guess," he said.

This time two people were hurt in a car that got caught up in the end of that chase. The SUV flipped upside down, damaging two other vehicles. Police say all victims were taken to the hospital for minor injuries.
