DENVILLE, NJ (News 12 New Jersey LLC/CNN) - A woman, who has the same address as a spa, is sick of men showing up asking for a massage.
At first, she couldn't figure out why it kept happening, but then she was stunned at what she found.
Kimberly Perez purchased her home in Denville in 2015 and soon found herself getting mysterious visitors.
"They're always men, variations of men. From college kids, to scrawny, scruffy looking gross men," Perez said.
She said that they all come there for the same thing, a massage.
"I'm like, there's no massage here you're at the wrong address," Perez said.
Curious why this was happening so often, to several times a week, Perez did some online detective work.
She discovered that her home at 317 West Main Street, a section of Route 46, is the same street number as a spa about two miles away, also on Route 46, located in the back of a building.
It has a history of prostitution arrests.
Perez said some of the men seem awfully eager to start their appointments. One even became aggressive.
"He was coming in and trying to get in my kitchen, and that's when I told him there's no hookers here. You need to go away," Perez said.
She had six unwanted visitors last week wanting massages.
She hopes a new law cracking down on massage businesses will stop the men from showing up at her house.
