Woman sets boyfriend on fire, tries to extinguish blaze with urine

PENN HILLS, PA (WTAE/CNN) - A woman is accused of using gasoline to set her boyfriend on fire and then having second thoughts and trying to put out the blaze with urine.

An argument led Leigh Ann Sepelyak to pour gas on the man when he went to sleep on Sunday night, WTAE reports.

She tossed a match on the man, setting him ablaze. Then she used a bucket of urine to try and extinguish the fire, police said. The couple had been using a bucket instead of a bathroom.

Others who lived in the house above the couple took the man to the hospital. Burns cover at least 25 percent of his body, the report said.

Sepelyak, 38, admitted she was angry, and faces charges of attempted homicide, and arson.
