(RNN) – Taco Bell is firing the latest shot in an ongoing dollar menu battle among fast food chains.
The restaurant, at long last, is joining the French fry game. Fans of tacos and fries can expect to see nacho fries added to the menu on Jan. 25. And it’ll only cost you $1.
Is part of the restaurant’s plan to introduce 20 $1 items in test markets this year.
Taco Bell says to expect “bold Mexican seasoning” and a dippable side of warm nacho cheese.
But, it gets better. Customers can upgrade their fries to Supreme for $2.49 or Bell Grande for $3.49. Bell Grande features beef, Pico de Gallo, nacho cheese and sour cream.
