SAN FRANCISCO (KGO/CNN) - It will be a smoky start to the week.
Crews are battling numerous blazes in wine country.
Residents in Lake, Mendocino, Napa and Sonoma counties are being forced to evacuate their homes, with a nearby wildfire even causing the evacuation of a hospital in Santa Rosa, in Sonoma County.
One fire on Atlas Peak spread to more than 200 acres, thanks in part to gusty winds.
There are reports of at least three structures in that area suffering some damage.
Mandatory evacuations are in place for some spots, including Porter Creek and the Petrified Forest.
