OMAHA, NE (KMTV/CNN) – A shirtless man riding a tractor was arrested after fleeing a traffic stop and driving around asking others for sandwiches.
Police say a little before midnight Tuesday they received several 911 calls regarding Adrian Latham, 41, who was driving a red tractor erratically while calling out for sandwiches.
Latham, who was shirtless, drove recklessly, weaving through traffic lanes before slamming into three gates, at least one of which was metal, police say.
According to police, Latham was very confused and unable to provide his name following the crash. He was taken to the hospital for a possible drug overdose and was medically cleared.
The 41-year-old was arrested on several charges, including willful reckless driving and felony flight to avoid arrest. His driver’s license has been suspended for more than a year for habitual driving offenses.
Police say it is unknown who owns the tractor.
