TEMPE, AZ (KPHO/KTVK/CNN) - Even though it might look like a tornado at first glance, it's actually a dust devil.
An employee at a television station in Tempe spotted it along the side of Interstate 10 recently.
The tight spirals of dust and wind are a pretty common sight in the Arizona desert, but they're usually not this big.
Rare dust devils have been clocked to have winds as high as 75 mph, which equals an EF-0 tornado.
