HARTFORD, CT (WTIC/CNN) - Some schoolchildren faced a scary situation on Friday.
Video from a commuter bus shows a car crossing the center line and smashing into the bus before spiraling out of control.
The bus swerved toward a large group of children on a nearby sidewalk, forcing the kids to scatter and run from the vehicle.
Luckily, the bus driver was able to regain control of the vehicle and avoid hitting the children.
Three people on the bus were hurt.
No charges have been filed at this time, but police are investigating whether the driver of the vehicle that hit the bus was distracted at the time of the crash.
