HORICON, WI (WKOW/CNN) - State troopers are trained to brace for any traffic stop becoming high-risk, and that happened earlier this week, where a suspect used his car as a weapon.
Veteran Wisconsin State Trooper Randy Kind had no time to react.
"He just dynamited brakes to try to make me hit 'em; he's stopped at the moment," Kind said. "Dodge, he just rammed my car. He just rammed my car."
The 21-year old speeding suspect was so belligerent, bystanders tried to help control him.
"Taser, Taser. Let 'em go, I've got a Taser," Kind said.
To the suspect, he said, "You make one move, I'll let loose, hands behind your back."
Even putting the car in park becomes tense.
"Get the f*** out of my car!" the subject said.
"Wow, I'll tase you. I'll tase you. Let him kick. Let him kick," Kind replied.
"You need to be prepared at all times because when you're dealing with people, anything can happen at any given situation," Miller said.
"These two gentleman, whatever you do, this gentleman and this gentleman helped me to hold him down," Kind said.
Because of the help he received, Kind never used his stun gun.
The State Patrol is investigating.
The suspect is a 21-year-old man from Menomonee Falls. His name has not been released.
