HAMMOND, IL (WLS/CNN) - Video has captured the terrifying sight of two young men with guns drawn running down the street in search of a victim in Illinois.
The two suspects tried to rob two elderly men, and a woman with her child on Friday.
The first robbery took place after 6 a.m., and with both suspects wearing hoodies, WLS and the Chicago-Sun Times reported.
The robbers spotted an elderly man, but their crime was foiled when a bread delivery man showed up at the same time, prompting the suspects to leave the scene, the report said.
They moved on to rob another man before targeting a woman and her 11-year-old child. Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspects.
