Vandals paint 'Nazis,' break windows at NH GOP office

CONCORD, NH (CNN) - Police are investigating after someone spray-painted the word "Nazis" on an exterior wall at New Hampshire's Republican Party headquarters. There also was some damage to windows.

The black lettering appeared inside a heart, and police say several windows were also broken with rocks. Authorities haven't yet named any suspects.

The incident comes after President Donald Trump's response to the racial violence in Charlottesville, VA,  last weekend. His comments have been widely-criticized by Democrats and some Republicans.

Trump condemned the Neo-Nazis and white supremacists who protested, but also insisted there were "very fine people" among those who protested over the weekend against the taking down of a statue to Confederate Gen. Robert E. Lee.
