(CNN) – Actress Uma Thurman is speaking out about her experiences with Harvey Weinstein.
In an article published in The New York Times Opinion section, Thurman claimed Weinstein made unwanted sexual advances against her during the 1990s.
She also said that rejecting those advances impacted her relationship with director Quentin Tarantino.
Thurman said that, while their relationship was under strain, Tarantino forced her to drive a car she wasn’t comfortable with while filming.
There was an accident and the actress was left with permanent injuries.
Weinstein’s representative said in a statement to CNN that he acknowledges making a pass at Thurman while they were in the U.K., but said he apologized at the time.
Weinstein denies physically assaulting Thurman.
So far, there’s been no comment from Tarantino.
