The University of Cincinnati voted to revoke Bill Cosby's honorary degree Tuesday morning.
The Board of Trustees unanimously voted to rescind the comedian's Honorary Doctor of Humane Letters degree. UC awarded Cosby the degree in 2001.
The decision comes after Cosby was convicted on three counts of aggravated indecent assault on April 26. UC joins at least two dozen other institutions that rescinded honors for the comedian.
On Monday, the Kennedy Center voted to rescind two of its biggest honors it awarded Cosby - the Kennedy Center Honors and the Mark Twain Prize for American Humor.
A jury of seven men and five women deliberated for around 14 hours over two days in Cosby's retrial.

The 80-year-old former comedian could face up to 30 years behind bars.
He maintains his innocence and is expected to appeal.
