(CNN) - Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey tweeted Tuesday that Ned Segal will become the company's next chief financial officer.
Segal - who served as senior vice president of finance at Intuit - will start in late August, according to an SEC filing.
His salary will be $500,000 a year, with a sign-on bonus of $300,000. These numbers come in addition to his stock vesting in the company.
Twitter's stock has lost three-fourths of its value in recent years, according to Business Insider.
