(CNN) - The TSA is changing the way you get through airport security.
If you’re flying out, you may need to grab extra bins when going through security.
TSA’s new requirement states that all electronics larger than a cell phone need to be taken out of your carry-on luggage and put in a separate bin.
That means iPads, eReaders, tablets and laptops.
TSA said it needs an extra look at your devices because of an increased threat.
You may have already had to do this, because TSA tested the new requirement at ten airports around the country.
They will extend the new rule nationwide during the next several weeks and months.
This enhanced look at electronics will only apply to the standard security line.
If you have TSA precheck, you'll fly through security and leave your electronics in your luggage.
