ROCKLAND, ME (WGME/CNN) - A 75-year-old woman in Rockland says she would rather go to jail than be forced to take her pro-President Donald Trump signs down.

Susan Reitman is a big Trump supporter, and signs and flags at her home exhibit her feelings.

But Rockland code enforcement officers have told her the signs are in violation of the city’s rules, and must come down. But Reitman argues that position goes against her freedom of speech.

The Trump campaign has offered to broker a solution in the form of signs that would qualify under the ordinance.
