Trump denies undercutting Tillerson with IQ remark

Posted

(RNN) - Mensa said it would be happy to intervene In the battle of wits between President Donald Trump and Secretary of State Rex Tillerson.

Trump dismissed the reports Tillerson called him a "----ing moron" as "fake news" but added "...but if he did that, I guess we'll have to compare IQ tests. And I can tell you who is going to win."

It was an opportunity too good for an international group of geniuses to pass up.

“American Mensa would be happy to hold a testing session for President Trump and Secretary Tillerson,” said Charles Brown, the group’s communications director, The Hill reported.

The group added in a press release, "American Mensa members come from all walks of life: ground-breaking researchers, smart actors who play dumb on TV, championship-bound (eventually) football coaches — even politicians. Their beliefs and jobs are trumped by their IQ scores."

Do you think you're a genius? There's one way to find out.

Because October is Mensa Membership Month, Mensa is administering Mensa admissions tests measuring IQ in 150 testing sessions across the nation.

Note that a Mensa IQ test cannot be taken online. It must be taken in person, proctored by a Mensa member and then scored by Mensa's testing team

In addition to the Mensa admissions test, one may qualify for Mensa via more than 200 intelligence tests given by psychologists and school districts across the U.S. To qualify for Mensa, one must be a 2-percenter - that is, achieve intelligence test scores in the top 2 percent.
