CHESTERFIELD, SC (WBTV/RNN) - A tractor-trailer was driving over a bridge in Chesterfield County when the road collapsed, WBTV reports.
The cab of the truck fell into the water-filled hole and the back wheels remained on the road.
Jimmy Creek flows near where the road buckled north of Chesterfield on Highway 145 North.
Officials say the driver is OK. There’s no word on when the road is expected to reopen.
Chesterfield County experienced major impacts from Florence. A curfew was set Sunday and later lifted Monday morning.
