COLORADO SPRINGS, CO (KXRM/CNN) - Where's Waldo? In Colorado Springs.
More than 3,000 Waldos and Wendas stormed the streets of downtown Colorado Springs on Saturday for the sixth annual Waldo Waldo 5K Run.
Proceeds from the race go to support the Rocky Mountain Field Institute to maintain local trails and reconstruct the Waldo Canyon area.
This year's goal was to raise $200,000.
"You come out and everybody is smiling and they're all dressed the same, and they're having a good time," Olivia Franks, the event's organizer, said. "They come back and listen to some of the bands we have, and everybody is just happy. It's a fun way to raise money and get everyone out and excited about it."
There were some people not dressed as Waldo, but they were hard to find.
