(CNN) - Malaysia has made a deal with a private U.S. firm to continue the search for Malaysia Airlines Flight MH 370. Ocean Infinity, based in Houston, TX, has agreed to undertake the search on a 'no find no fee' basis.
The Australian Ministry for Infrastructure and Transport made the announcement. They say once the contract has been finalized, Ocean Infinity will be searching the sea floor in a location previously identified as being the most likely location to find MH 370.
Australia will be providing technical assistance as requested by the Malaysian government. The flight from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing vanished on March 8, 2014. In all, 239 people were on board.
The Malaysian, Chinese and Australian governments called off the search in January 2017.
